'I didn't believe it would ever work but I just went along with it'
Omar Iqbal, a dentist from Glasgow, struggled with his weight all his life.

Omar followed the typical trajectory of most desi dads, get married, get busy with a family. career and weight slowly creeps up.
The waste size got bigger and the clothes started to get tighter.
Having a high standard for himself, he was never happy with the shape of his body growing up.
After his fourth child was born, he felt the urge to be a better role model for his kids. He knew he wasn’t getting any younger. He needed to be in better health and in better shape for his family.
Over the years he tried various diets, the usual culprits, keto, Atkins and hours of training but nothing seemed to work like it did in his younger days.
Yes, he saw the initial rapid weight loss (water weight), but he couldn’t keep up them. Who wants a life where you can’t enjoy bread or rice without having an anxiety attack. Most of us have been there at some point.
He also tried out exercising his poor nutrition which also wasn’t sustainable. With a family and good business to take care of, who has 3 hours to spare each day to be at the gym?
Even if you managed it, your bones and muscle would wear away before you managed to out exercise poor nutrition. I have hours of video content inside my free Facebook group discussing this topic.
Like everyone else he too was sceptical when he heard me claim you can lose weight without dieting and exercise with our Minimalist Method program.
He didn’t believe me even whilst speaking to me on a call, but risks are an inevitable part of growth. As they say:

‘𝐼 𝑑𝑖𝑑𝑛’𝑡 𝑏𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑣𝑒 𝑖𝑡 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑘, 𝑛𝑜 𝑒𝑥𝑒𝑟𝑐𝑖𝑠𝑒, 𝑖𝑡’𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑙𝑒’
Due to his lack of belief in himself at the time, he set himself a very modest goal of getting to 90kg. As the expert, with years of experience transforming clients, knew that at that weight with his height he would still have a considerable amount of fat. I could tell he had a higher standard for himself and he wouldn’t be happy with that, so I told him the weight he would need to be to see abs.
Lo and behold, Omar is already 7kg below his target weight, he flew past 90kg.

And he only started training 9 weeks into the program.
He is amazed at the concrete belief he has in himself now. How his goals have changed to bigger goals, from the mindset training and seeing the results from himself even with the minimal effort he put in to get to where he has.

Omar feels healthier, happier and better in himself, his body shape has changed dramatically and he has never felt better.
What's more important than the external transformation is the internal transformation he has gone through.
Having initially had his mind set on just getting under 100kg, and now getting down to 83kg, like our client Majid, he realises how overweight he really was. Most desi dads vastly underestimate the amount of fat they’re carrying.
